NAME

gfal_rmdir - remove a directory  

SYNOPSIS

#include "gfal_api.h"

int gfal_rmdir (const char *dirname);  

DESCRIPTION

gfal_rmdir removes a directory if it is empty.
dirname
specifies the directory name (this can only be a TURL in the current implementation).
 

RETURN VALUE

This routine returns 0 if the operation was successful or -1 if the operation failed. In the latter case, errno is set appropriately.  

ERRORS

ENOENT
The named directory does not exist.
EACCES
Search permission is denied on a component of the dirname prefix or write permission on the parent directory is denied.
EFAULT
dirname is a NULL pointer.
EEXIST
The named directory is not empty.
ENOTDIR
A component of dirname prefix is not a directory.
EINVAL
dirname has an invalid syntax.
ECOMM
Communication error.
EPROTONOSUPPORT
Access method not supported.
